WOW!!! What a great example of the varied tastes of the people here.

Lord Of All Fire,,,,,thanks for your time and efforts again this year,,,,,

I submitted only 13 albums this year, and while 3 of them appeared in the top 13 of this list, I am NOT surprised to see that none of my Top 3 even made the final list,,,,,

After reading through the list twice now,,,,,I would say my biggest surprise is how low the new Motorhead finished,,,,,I would have expected it between 10 and 15, not 28,,,,,I'm also a little surprised the new Slayer finished as high as it did,,,,,

And I think the choice of number one was painfully obvious,,,,,my opinions of it aside,,,,,

Every kid who reads all the metal magazines in the mall should check out this list. Huge difference!

Well 6 of my Top 15 made the Top 15 on that list so that's cool. I'm surprised that Gojira and Melechesh were way down around 50 with the way everyone was babbling and hyping them up on here.

I agree, I thought Melechesh would have been higher on the list. I think the reason that they didnt get as high on is becuase lots of people still have yet to hear it becuase it has yet to be released in North America.

I just would like to say thanks to all who put in a list (properly, haha). I think its a cool way to end 2006. Plus its a good chance for me and probably others to check out some band/albums that they normaly wouldn't have.

my number one only made it to #59. :( (admittedly it's not even a Metal record.

and my numbers 2 & 3(Gwar and Ancient Rites respectively) didnt even make the list.

surprised Agalloch is that high.

I'm betting it'll be on most of the 2007 lists.

Thanks again to LOAF for doin' all the data compilation, tis a good list this year.

BWBK oughtta start publishing these lists in the mag. Show what the real metal fans are enjoying.

That's still better than my top 3 (Earthride, Scissorfight, and Tankard).

I'm not surprised about Agalloch,,,,,SOOOOO many people had them on their lists,,,,,it was like winning a war by attrition,,,,,
