If you want to step it up a notch drop your strap to your waist.

Thanks! I can say with certainty we are more confident with our sound than ever. Stripping away superfluous elements has yielded maximum results.
I hope it'll be out soon. We're talking to a couple labels about getting it pressed. If nothing comes of it... well... I hope you've got a boombox

My new (used) '04 Trailblazer has a cassette player! So, even if it doesn't make it to CD, I'm set! :m:

Buddy of mine are talking about jamming again soon. The problem with this town is that there are NO f'ing drummers and bassists. I might have to learn the bass and try to do that and vocals at the same time. We'll see.

Plus, we have such an awesome logo already made up, I can't let it go to waste!

My problem is that it's so hard finding a drummer because all the drummers that are in Grand Rapids are in other projects that take up their time. Thinking of starting up drums and try and make something out of it.

Nothing...it sucks! Pray for Lies has taken some time off recently, tendonitis in my right wrist has been a nagging problem for months and months.

Anyone looking for a vocalist in and around Hamilton?

Recorded a guitar & drums for the demo for my new band yesterday, gonna do vocals and bass this week sometime. Probably tomorrow. Also recorded some vocals for a friend today, just trying out production techniques to see what works for their full length.

Exciting!

Currently working on editing my most recent recording sessions and looking for gigs in Belgium ('cause that's where I live now). Anyone know anyone involved in experimental/improvised music in Belgium?

Study yes, grant no. I'm here for two years working on my masters (cultural studies). My gf is here working so she pays the bills, my tuition is practically nothing so she just has to feed me really.

Don't be jealous now. Be jealous next August when I go to Wacken...

^ Done.

Anyway, my band is struggling to find venues to play progressive rock in our area. Five years ago it was no problem. We took a break, and got back together. Things drastically change in five years.

Ugh.

Demo complete as of last night, can't wait to get the "total package" together and release it.

A sample of a demo I threw together recently... band has shattered a little bit... drummer quit... still no singer

Anyway, I found a cool preset for my Line 6 UX1 finally, came out all right... there's some sloppiness because it was thrown together, but you'll get the idea. Drums are haphazardly thrown together in Garageband...essentially it's a scratch track that sounds better than a scratch track.

Take a listen with a good set of speakers or headphones... there's a nifty drop at the bridge ;)
