Gah.

How did Redemption and Threshold score so low, but Dream Theater score so high?

Overkill would have made my top 25. I have not heard the next 2 and Nuge is not one of my favorites.

I thought it was a great year for metal-- but not thrash...

I dug about half of Immortalis, and forgot the other half....

I have 44 from the final list.

oh well, thats the beauty of opinions. For me this is a shoe-in for the top 20 easily.

nice work, I appreciate the effort/time you put into that list.

I only own those ones. I certainly rate the Nile and Pig Destroyer, PD being by far the best. Not listened to the DEP album yet. Likes the Dthrone, was quite disappointed by the rest.

Thanks LOAF! Great work, as usual

I'm a bit surprised to see that Cobalt only ended up at position #99, but I guess I should be happy that at least it's there. It ended up at #3 on my list and I think that it was #2 for Arck. Are we the reason it's listed?

Great list anyway, much more surprising (and better) than the BW&BK one. :m:

I think it speaks to the genius of the group that Radiohead placed just outside the top 50 and they're not even a metal band.

:m:

(I haven't heard the album, but despite the hype I respect the shit out of Radiohead)
