I liked that part too. Nice to see a US President demanding they do a better job and to report with accuracy.

It was kind of like something that "progressive" JFK would say, actually.

I like how he bashed Obama, too. And also bashed other countries instead of bashing his own.

Post Nasty tricksie Russian hobbitses !
Basically, Trump pushes a bad NATO idea for advancing even more bad NATO strategies.

https://www.rt.com/news/394783-germany-russia-sanctions-nordstream/

The NeoCon / NeoLib movement of the world rejoices, and bows to Washington like the submissive eunuchs they are.

And Poland's paranoid government eats it up because, to paraphrase them, FUCK RUSSIA - WE HATES THEM FOREVER !

I like how HE DOESN'T READ THE INTELLIGENCE REPORTS, so how the fuck would he even know what they're doing?

I bet they worked out some plans and swung some deals for 2020.

And then they enjoyed some Trump-branded caviar together.

The public inquiry into Grenfell Tower will be a farce unless it examines the long-running assault on public protections.

http://www.monbiot.com/2017/07/06/covering-fire/

Quote:
...We don’t allow defendants in court cases to select the charges on which they will be tried. So why should the government set the terms of a public inquiry into its own failings? We don’t allow criminal suspects to vet the trial judge. Why should the government approve the inquiry’s chair?

...

Let me give you an example. On the morning of June 14, as the tower blazed, an organisation called the Red Tape Initiative convened for its pre-arranged discussion about building regulations. One of its tasks was to consider whether rules governing the fire resistance of cladding materials should be removed for the sake of construction industry profits.

Please bear with me while I explain what this initiative is and who runs it, as it’s a perfect cameo of British politics. It’s a government-backed body established “to grasp the opportunities” Brexit offers to cut “red tape”: a disparaging term for public protections. It’s chaired by the Conservative MP Sir Oliver Letwin, who has claimed that “the call to minimise risk is a call for a cowardly society.” It is a forum in which exceedingly wealthy people help decide which protections should be stripped away from lesser beings.

....

It is one of many such schemes set up in recent decades, by both the Conservatives and New Labour. Among the recent examples are David Cameron’s Star Chamber (yes, that really was the name he gave it), in which ministers were interrogated by a panel of corporate executives; and the Cutting Red Tape programme, which boasts that “businesses with good records have had fire safety inspections reduced from 6 hours to 45 minutes”. One of the results of this bonfire of regulation is the government’s repeal in 2012 of the fire prevention measures in the London Building Act. Had they remained in place, the Grenfell fire is unlikely to have spread.

I don't believe that dumb ass claim for a second. What I do believe is the Taliban would love to try and make the Russians look bad by claiming that they're in cahoots. And "Russian" weapons these days, especially the kind of outdated junk that gets shipped out to shit holes like Afghanistan, can easily be made elsewhere, as we all very well know.

The Taliban is a Saudi-American-backed confederation of jihadist ragheads who dream of toppling Moscow. The Russians "supporting" it in any way is an asinine assertion.

"Video suggests" ... "may be" and the unverifiable words of some terrorist cave-dweller are not legitimate sources from which to create a news piece. "Small arms experts told us there's nothing here tying the guns to the Russian state..." is about the only factual statement in the whole piece. GTFO CNN. More fake news.

The real reason I came in to this thread today though:

Check out Douglas Murray's book, The Strange Death of Europe, if you are interested in the truth behind the sham that is the European migrant crisis.

https://www.amazon.com/Strange-Death-Li ... 1472942248

Just read this one myself, and found it brilliant in how well researched and backed up it is. It completely destroys all neoliberal notions that we are in any way helping "refugees" or other such nonsense.
