Post Upon Ruins - 'Legacy of Desolation' - New Band + New Album
Hey All,

We're a new Death Metal band from Nova Scotia and just released our debut album. Check it out if you're into melodic DM with some thrashy moments. Cheers.

Cool! I'm from Nova Scotia, too.

Any plans to come to the Cape Breton area in the near future? I know plenty of metalheads, but the local venues around here seem to refuse to want to have metal of any kind here. You'd be lucky to find venues that would give the green light to pop-punk shows around here, let alone metal of any kind. It's really unfortunate. :(

so book a show yourself and you'll find out first hand if there's a market for it or not based on if you make or lose money on it

businesses don't turn down money

We're gearing up to play some shows next year but nothing is confirmed yet. I don't believe any of my band mates or I have ever played Cape Breton so it might be cool to play somewhere new. Unfortunately if there are no local venues that support metal shows, it makes things very difficult for an out of town band. Let me know if anything changes. Cheers lml
