Doors @ 7PM
Showtime 8PM

FYI:

Absolutely no portion of the performance may
be broadcast, photographed, recorded, filmed,
or taped.

No Cameras means NO CAMERAS. The term encompasses every type of camera. Not just those considered "Professional" with detachable lenses. Disposable, Sporting cameras such as a GO-Pros, CAMERAS PERIOD!

CELL PHONE CAMERAS: They are highly discouraged, their use during the show.

I love it.

Remember when being down front at a show meant that you had to work to keep your spot? When you had to keep your head up because you could get bowled over by a stray mosher or a crowd surfer? Remember FUN? Cell phone users have helped to absolutely obliterate everything that was great about being up close at a show. Now it's just a bunch of jerkoffs holding up cameras and sucking every last ounce of energy from the room.

I wish that every venue would do this, nevermind just bands. Put your fucking phone away during the show.

Almost seems like they want it like a stage play style audience NO CAMERAS. Would be cool if they are filming the show themselves.

THIS IS TONIGHT!!!!!

Indeed. Nuthin is more pathetic then ppl who go to gigs NOT to watch the bands- to take digicam pix for their headbook or facebook or legbook or dickbook accounts.

Maybe i'll go to this gig wearing a black security tshirt and confiscate ppls cameras to chop em on Kijji :)

I personally don't see a huge deal with snapping a quick pic or taking a quick vid. I do it from time to time for a little momento, but if I do take a short vid, it's at eye level and not holding it way the fuck up, and it's also on the dimmest setting so even the light shouldn't be a bother to anyone behind me. There are a lot of people who do it for a really long time though... or like all night. And then they instanly need to check it to see if their shitty pic or vid (and make no bones about it... they are shitty...) is un-shitty enough to keep. I don't get the need for that much fucking footage and it's annoying as fuck.

Also... it's fun watching people get bowled over when they are holding up a phone or camera lol. However, I rarely see pits much that more at all... but I don't go to a ton of shows... it's mostly black metal when I do, and small venues. I don't blame cameras for that... not sure what it is really. Curious.
