Never heard of em. Still only one band I care about. So far the worst lineup the fest has seen as far as I'm concerned. I've only been once, but remember all the years lineups. Maybe they are trying to play it ultra safe after last year or something.

:?

At this point, I think only Urfaust or Cosmic Church can get me to Montreal... unless I REALLY want something to do that weekend. Either way, it's still fucking cool they continued with the fest. It's pretty unique to North America... Canada anyways. Hope it never stops as WoM is.

Looks like the announcements are done and the lineups are being announced. Worst year yet I'd say.

Baptism and Profanatica are all I really care enough about personally. I also lol whenever I see the name Enthroned. How they use that name still I'll never know.

Nornagest has been in the band since 1995. Band started in 1993. So I guess that's it.

Interesting.

I went. The women in MTL are AMAZING!!!! In TO you'd never ever see groups of SINGLE women hanging out havin a drunken blast!!! Ratio was approx 6 dudes to every 4 chix!! In TO it'd be 9 dudes to every women.

I drank at the hotel rather then watch alotof the bands that played. SARGIEST was ok, nuthin to special. NARGAROTH was simply AMAZING!!! They had a crowd of 500 ppl chanting FUCK ANTIFA FUCK ANTIFA while smashing pig heads on stage! Then they went into a cover of BURZUM's WAR !!! Witch got a decent pit going!! Unfortunately some more then likely antifa terrorist pulled the fire alarm witch cut MORTIIS set short. Outside I walked up to a cruiser & informed the cops that it musta been the terrorists aka antifa that pulled the fire alarm. They looked at each other & simply shrugged knowing i'm probably correct esp considering what went on at last yrs fest!

They made you pay a $2 deposit for the plastic glass the draft came in. When I went to the bar for my refund noone was there & a fireman told me to leave the building. They musta made a KILLING off the glass deposits!

The mandatory "Coat check" that cost $2 was VERY disappointing. Whats the point to that when security doesn't even pat attendees down at the door?

The french BM band that opened up Sat night was rad. Dunno their name. Anyone know?

GAAL started his set doing a weird hindu sounding chant/ritual witch creeped me the fuck out. LOUD blasting drums over what could be improv riffs. TERRIBLE. AWFUL. THE WORST! Defintally not GORGOROTH. ARKHON INFASTUS sounded like a wall of noise imo. Too bad as many have told me they are a decent under rated band. ENTHRONED was ok- very extremely loud! Too loud imo. Almost a wall of noise!

All in all it was worth it just to check out all the hot ladies!!

You must have been devastated not getting that $2 glass deposit back.

Were you allowed to go in and out for smokes and what not or were you held hostage again because Antifa has ruined the festival forever?

$2 is $2 man! I werk hard for my cash!! |Lets say 200 ppl didn't get their 2 bux back thats 400 bux!! :o

Yup, we were allowed in and out for smokes. I did try and pass securiiy with my leather jacket & they didn not like that at all!!

ANTIFA ARE TERRORISTS!!!

noun
1.
a person who uses terrorism in the pursuit of political aims.

I'll be the first to say I wish we all lived in a world were everyone got along! not that fuckin simple & BLM / ANTIFA are just making matters worse imo

That was great. Thanks for that. Great post.
I'm not enjoying the badgering-of-promoters posting lately, but this was a good one. Keep that stuff up.

Ingenting has offered to talk via Private Messaging. Take him up on that. I, for one, don't need opinion pieces in the announcements thread, not what it's for.

Still, thanks for the video. Great quality. Yours, or someone else's?
