Talking about metal and bands, sometimes I feel like Stephen Hawking, sometimes I feel mentally challenged.

Depends who I'm talking to.
I always try to be honest and if I don't know a band just say so.

Maybe WASP, KISS, Moonspell... I dunno?

Yo Moonspell historian Voodoo, just saw them for the first time in Quebec. I liked Extinct way more than 1755 (you?) but still, they were fucking awesome.

Definitely Nine Inch Nails, Candiria, Anathema, Katatonia, Depeche Mode, Ulver, Coalesce, Zao, Misery Signals, and the Norwegian second wave scene in general. If we opened it up to hip hop I could add a few other artists. I'd maybe say Coil as well, except for that it's near impossible to know "everything" about them due to their absurd release history and voluminous assortment of anecdotal mythology that's accumulated around them over the years.

That's awesome. Wish I coulda caught them on this tour.

I dig Extinct more than 1755, too. Still dig 1755 though. It's a weird album for them, imo. Really hope they go back to their more occult roots like the early days. We'll see. One of the few bands for me that have never released a bad album.

Yeah 1755 is good in its own way. Love the vibe of it,the language and the authenticity. Side note: 1755 is the year of the Acadian deportation (which I am) but this album has nothing to do with Acadians obvioulsy.

Great to chat with a historian!

I liked Gucci's verse on that Big Boi joint but that's about it.
