Martuary Drape, Volahn, Occult Burial, Demontage. All bands sounded and were great last night.

Lowlight. Svarog accidentally selected Balrog and still beat my Ryu. But I beat his Ken with Ryu so I don't know what to make of the situation.

Glad it was good. Annoyed I had to leave, but real life, I guess.
Goddamn Balrog.

Not sure what's on tap between now and Quebec Deathfest.

Maybe Abigail in September. Probably shouldn't miss that one.

All of the circus music and clowns, none of the animal abuse. In your face, PT Barnum!

I wouldn't mind seeing Dimmu actually but their setlists are pretty bad. They sometimes do an encore from Enthrone but it's otherwise all Death Cult and newer stuff.

ya that's kind of what i figured they'd be doing and obviously there's no vortex... i'd be much more inclined to go if they were doing older stuff, particularly because i've never seen them live, but i know they won't be so mehhh...

I'd steer clear.

Dimmu Borgir were boring live even when they weren't playing shitty circus music.

You lucky fuck. I'd love to hit up Psycho Fest at some point. Metal, gambling, air conditioned venues, and a few brothels if you're willing to travel out of LV proper and hit up Reno. Totally my kind of party.

Taken from old thread. As per Exorcist (don't know how to add his name to the quote but if anyone does let me know):

Quote:
Dude, I'm telling you, don't sleep on Wake or Massgrave on the Friday. Goolagoon are great as well, but I don't think you'd like them. I'd be surprised if you don't like Wake or especially Massgrave, though.

Been really digging the Wake and Massgrave. Needed some new quality grind in my life.

May or may not be of interest to you, since Xenogears was made by many of the same folks who made Chrono Trigger.

Yeah that's the series were there are a couple games right? And one was only released in the UK or something? I had one of the ROMs downloaded but then spilled beer on my old laptop and because I was having annoying desktop issues, I didn't bother pulling a lot of stuff from the old hard drive. Started new, which is while I lost 10+ hours of FF3/6. :)

You're probably thinking of something else. Terranigma?

Xenogears only had one game, which was intended to be game 5 out of a planned 6. Very ambitious, very huge, and very anti-religious. Series was cancelled by Square, developers left to form their own studio, and made games (Xenosaga 1-3) that built on the concepts, but for legal reasons, couldn't outright be called a sequel or prequel. Then the company was bought by Nintendo and are making the Xenoblade games.
