With Doom We Come

After 5 years since OMD, it does not dissapoint. Some real jems on here like Night Fell Behind and Mirklands. Cant stop spinning it

I'd say its one of their best to date! Thats a bold statement considering their back catalogue.

Too bad Abigor fell off the wagon long time ago

i like it more than OMD so far, but i think its safe to say that the stronghold, LMHSYF, dath bomb, era is gone.

Still haven't listened. Will soon. Want to buy all the vinyl they have on Napalm come bonus time so hopefully they are still available.

Probably the Forest vinyl too... if that's released and available. But that's different story altogether.

Surprised by all this negativity.
Definitely not their best ever but on par with their lesser albums which are still 8/10

It seems to happen with every new Summoning album, not just here, that people claim the new one is merely okay, while the previous one was great. Of course, that previous one got the same treatment when it was new.

I know from experience, I need a good 6 months or so of absorbing a new Summoning album, before I can really make a judgement on it. So, I'll let this one gradually work its magic.

I haven't listened to it but after listening to the first track that was released, the vocals turned me off so much that I lost all interest.

The old albums had me feeling like I was listening to a goblin, but these sound like any boring old half-sung crap.

The new one isn't bad, but I've just never really been in to this band... 90% of the time it just doesn't do it for me

I kinda procrastinated in ordering the box set and now I can't, so I'll probably grab it from Amazon.

Still have most of the catalog to explore first anyways.

Definitely sounds like the dude from Amebix is doing vocals on about half the album.

Listened last night.

Loved the last two songs, the rest seem like they'll take some time to build in my head.
I can't compare though. Don't think I'd heard a Summoning album before last night.

This is exactly where I landed after first listen. Last two were excellent Summoning, the others will take a few more spins.
