These guys can at least appreciate it, even though they clearly are used to a whole different musical "culture". That's what makes the video tolerable - it's not disrespect, just two guys trying to get into something they've never heard before.

The other thing I thought about while watching it was "imagine if it had been Five Magics".

I must be the only person who DIDN'T like this video. Yeah they seem like fun enough guys and all but they had zero meaningful commentary about the song. Oh well, moving on.

I'd like to see 2 metalheads review hip hop classics in this style.
Maybe I'll do it.

I don't think it would go as well. As much as I sometimes think metalheads have the broadest tastes... a lot of them don't. If they aren't already into hip hop at all, they probably aren't as open minded as these guys. The riffs in this song cannot be denied by anyone. :)

I could be wrong though. Might be an interesting experiment.

He's country? That song is way more bluesy than country. Yeah, it's a pretty good song.

Country, southern rock, blues. Reminds me vocally of Seger at times. The new album is more bluesy than the first for sure. Chris Stapleton is a country artist that deserves the accolades he has received by the industry and his more mainstream success (which is a bit surprising considering the pop nonsense country has become). It's nice to see. Legit shit.

Traveller is a 10/10 album for me. If you are anti-country then don't bother... otherwise check it out... fantastic.

For me, the best thing about these reactions is that's it's allowed me to "re-experience" some of these classics from a fresh perspective. After 30+ years, I've not once thought about this song's lyrics...never really gave them a thought. But their views on the lyrics have me thinking about them.

Indeed, he (George) brought up the word "Theatrical" and that pretty much nails Iron Maiden. :)

Yeah, they have finally reacted to Master Of Puppets.

Their reactions are so awesome to watch.

What these guys have actually done, is they have made listening to these songs that WE take for granted...fresh again. They have put a smile back on my face.

i'd love to see their reaction to King Diamond or Mercyful Fate. Those vocals, which I love, might be REALLY hard to swallow for the uninitiated!

Agreed. I think on this occasion they were so floored by it that it was difficult for them to articulate lol. I remember listening to these kinds of songs as a novice. I felt the same. Overwhelmed.

Ha! They were not impressed by Belladonna. I wonder if they would appreciate Bush more.

Ward's "swing" was an integral component of the Sabbath sound. it's such a shame that he wasn't part of the reunion.

Another brilliant reaction vid. Guys are pretty astute here talking about Hendrix and funk influences.
