We always have. If we haven't, then I have been missing some threads.

I just thought we were able to keep them going forever now. There was one in the bickering forum that went up to 70 something. Like I thought when those changes were made to move all the politics to the bickering, allow us to post larger images, etc... that we were going to keep threads running until they were inactive for 60 days or something.

Why are we having a page limit again? It's not 1998 anymore.....

EDIT: Locking threads after a certain amount of pages used to be done in the olden days of the internet because large threads would slow down the internet for people with a dial-up connection. This issue is obviously obsolete for like a decade now.

Mr Slippery and I have addressed this problem with the thread locking repeatedly (in the Brave Feedback section), and as far as I know, Inertia has said that it's ok not to lock them. In that one thread where I complained about:
- thread locking (Inertia said it's ok if we stop locking them, but what he says isn't all that important because he only visits this forum once in a blue moon and has lost any and all interest in being an Admin here);
- image sizes (larger ones are allowed, alas);
- auto-deletion of threads (the window was increased to like 90 days, but that's still missing the point, they shouldn't be deleted at all because this could be a killer archive of Metal threads).

Of course that thread is gone now, probably because of the retarded thread auto-deletion.... ugh
Like I mentioned before, Admins have completely lost interest and given up on this forum. The auto-deletion of threads is one of the worst offenses. Imagine having a 20xx albums worthy of attention thread archive for decades going over 50 pages? Wouldn't that be a killer archive? But no, nothing is being done and our mod is on autopilot.

PLEASE DON'T LOCK THREADS ANYMORE

Oh I don't actually care I'm just trying to figure out what the deal is. I just thought that was one of the 'changes' that was made. I actually think threads like this and the Now Playing thread should definitely be locked to give people a chance to create new ones with their own flare.

Da Troof makes a good point about the auto-deleting and archiving though. if you're going to lock threads, then just don't have them auto-delete. In case you wanted to, you could go back and check some old ass threads and see what was up. People searching the internet may find them as well, who aren't members and get some use out of them. Not really a big deal to me in the least as it seems to be with him, but it does make sense. There is nothing bizarre about that.

I have to give The Monolith Deathcult credit. Aside from releasing my favorite album this year, they are some funny fuckers. Their merch page alone is worth it, descriptions and all. Here is their new hoodie.

http://tmdc.bigcartel.com/product/new-l ... svs-hoodie

"Hoodie - short for Hoodlum.

Wear this for looking extra criminal and shady! Not being stopped enough by the police? Get this! Not enough street cred? Wear this! Need to blend in with your 15-year old daughter's ghetto friends? Wear this while you start doing crack cocaine and go to line dancing!

TL;DR: Wear this!

See images for options. Purchase probably does not include firearm.

May contain traces of mammals and the Great Barrier Reef (both gluten-free and regular)."

I like that the Tavern is hidden from public view but not Bickering. Neat way of filtering out tender hearts. :beer:

Glenn Hughes, in an interview from yesterday I believe, said that he had just finished recording a "secret" album with big name but couldn't reveal it until that person was ready...

Fingers and toes crossed that it's Tony Iommi!!!!!!

IDK. Iommi has been updating his affiliations with each Sabbath singer for 20+ years now. He already did the album with Hughes (Fuzed?) , and even had that Who Cares project with Ian Gillan, but has not yet worked again with Tony Martin.

I'm hoping it is Iommi, but I agree that the chances are slim. Coverdale would be very cool. Hughes has been on a roll with some great music of late, his solo album last year was outstanding.
