I had an awesome time tonight!

I got to see a metal show, run into some friends, and met at least one band member of each band. I met one member of Seeker, three members of Visceral Disgorge, three members of Archspire, and two members of Psycroptic. All very cool guys. I had an awesome time; definitely a trip worth taking.

I'm so happy for you.

What better way to spend Mother's Day than with your dad at Metallica?

Bought myself a ticket to Windhand and Satan's Satyrs for this coming Friday in Toronto. I'm also having car trouble now. How much you wanna bet I wind up sitting at home on Friday looking at a mechanic bill instead of watching righteous music?

Once I realized that the vocals were actually rad as fuck, I jumped right on board :m:

It's like Ozzy meets Geddy Lee but somehow manages to sound cool :m:

They were fine live.

Decent opening act for a monster like EW. Plus the due is in Electric Wizard now so it only made sense.

Doesn't matter now. Won't have my car this weekend anyways since the mechanic can't look at my ride until Friday afternoon at the earliest :peeved:

Bummer. Probably should have just got tickets at the door. I doubt it would have soldl out. But who knows.

I'm assuming it didn't break the bank though.

Only 16 bucks, so the cost doesn't bug me at all. I don't tend to risk buying tickets at the door only because it takes me 90+ minutes to get to Toronto. The last thing I'd want to do is make that drive and find out that I'm not getting into the show I drove to the city to see

I'm seeing Yngwie tonight in Denver! I last saw him 17 years ago, also in Denver. He was with Doro and Dio, back in 2000, it won't be as good a lineup tonight, but I still hope for a good show. :shred:

Looks like Fields had a growing spurt. Mom is probably sick of buying shoes.

Between now and Wings of Metal I think the only show I may go to is a country show, Chris Stapleton, in August.

I didn't even know there were new Marduk tour dates. I guess they're not coming near me since I haven't seen the local venues post anything yet.

Really bummed that Exodus tour isn't coming my way either.

I'd love to go see Incantation again but it won't be a good time and I don't care about Marduk so I probably won't go.
